Commissioning team
Chris has worked in the NHS across the North East for 19 years and has held his position as chief executive of NHS North of Tyne - working on behalf of Newcastle Primary Care Trust (PCT), North Tyneside PCT and Northumberland Care Trust - since November 2006. This role involves leading the management of the three organisations, which between them have a joint budget of more than £1 billion and more than 4,000 staff. They serve a population of 792,000.
Sue Cornick

Sue took up her post in early March 2009. She has worked in the NHS for over 20 years in a variety of general management, planning, contracting and commissioning roles.
Peter Dixon

Peter is a founder member of the team. He joined the NHS in 1991 and previously worked for Sunderland Health Authority and Sunderland Teaching Primary Care Trust.
